Multicam Black is a modern camouflage variant developed for law enforcement and urban tactical use, introduced in the late 2010s as a visual-signature reduction pattern rather than a traditional field camouflage. Using a palette of black, dark greys, and muted shapes derived from the original Multicam geometry, it is designed to break up human outlines in low-light, urban, and industrial environments while maintaining a professional, subdued appearance. While it offers limited concealment in natural terrain, Multicam Black is valued for its intimidation reduction, equipment compatibility, and cohesive look across uniforms and load-bearing gear in metropolitan and night-focused operations.

- Lightweight and breathable – Polyester mesh allows excellent airflow, making it ideal for ventilation panels and hot-weather applications.
- Durable and tear resistant – Maintains strength and structure despite its open weave, suitable for repeated use.
- Moisture resistant – Polyester fibres do not absorb water easily, helping the fabric dry quickly and resist mildew.
- Flexible and conforming – Easily shapes to curves and seams without adding bulk.
- Colour stable – Holds dye well and resists fading from UV exposure and washing.
- Weight and specification – 330±10GSM.
Each unit is supplied as a single piece measuring 1 m × 1.5 m. Orders of multiple units will be supplied as one continuous length where possible.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
