REFUND POLICY
This Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made from M8TEX unless stated otherwise.
M8TEX is a division of Blanchewater Gear.
(1) CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS OUR PRIORITY
At M8TEX, customer satisfaction is our priority.
We offer refunds, repairs and replacements in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and on the terms set out in this Policy.
Any benefits provided under this Policy are in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Please read this Policy before making a purchase so that you understand your rights and what to expect if you are not satisfied.
(2) AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
(a) Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
For major failures, you are entitled to:
- cancel your service contract; and
- a refund for the unused portion or compensation for reduced value.
You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods.
If a failure is not major, you are entitled to have it rectified within a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund and cancellation of the service (if applicable), and compensation for foreseeable loss.
(b) We comply with all obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.
(c) Consumer Guarantees apply automatically to eligible purchases.
(d) If this Policy conflicts with the Australian Consumer Law, the Australian Consumer Law prevails.
(e) Further information is available from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
(3) CHANGE OF MIND
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, including:
- finding the product cheaper elsewhere
- incorrect selection
- no longer needing the item
(4) PRODUCTS DAMAGED DURING DELIVERY
If your product is damaged during delivery:
- Contact us as soon as possible
- Return the product in original condition with packaging
- Notify us within 30 days of receipt
We will:
- repair, replace, or
- provide a refund where appropriate
(5) EXCEPTIONS
We may refuse a refund, repair or replacement if:
- The product was misused or improperly handled
- You were aware of the issue prior to purchase
- You requested modifications against our advice
- Other exceptions apply under the Australian Consumer Law
(6) SHIPPING COSTS FOR RETURNS
(a) If the product fails to meet Consumer Guarantees, we will cover return shipping and replacement delivery costs.
(b) If the item can be returned by post, you must arrange return shipping.
We will reimburse reasonable costs if the claim is valid.
(c) If the item is large or difficult to return, we will organise collection at our cost (if eligible).
(d) If a claim is found invalid after inspection, you must cover all associated costs (inspection, shipping, collection).
(7) RETURNS (TEXTILES & MATERIALS NOTICE)
Due to the nature of textiles, hardware, and manufacturing materials:
- Colour and texture may vary between batches and displays
- Screen differences will affect colour appearance
- We do not accept returns for colour or texture discrepancies
We strictly do not accept returns after 30 days from purchase, unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
(8) RESPONSE TIME
We aim to process all refund, repair or replacement requests within 10 days of receiving the request.
(9) HOW TO RETURN PRODUCTS
- Contact us first to initiate a return
- Proof of purchase is required
- ID may be required for processing
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise determined
