Coyote Brown emerged in the early 2000s alongside modern desert and arid warfare, particularly during US operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, where traditional olive and woodland tones proved ineffective. It is a warm, mid-brown colour designed to blend with sand, dust, dry soil, and sun-bleached terrain while also performing well in urban and transitional environments. Unlike Ranger Green, Coyote Brown was formally standardised and adopted by the US military for uniforms and equipment, becoming a default colour for load-bearing gear due to its durability, low visual contrast, and compatibility with Multicam and other desert-influenced camouflage patterns.

- High abrasion resistance – 1000D Cordura nylon is extremely tough and resistant to scuffing, tearing, and wear, making it ideal for hard-use tactical and load-bearing equipment.
- Heavyweight construction – The 1000 denier yarn provides excellent structural strength and rigidity, helping gear retain shape under load.
- Water and mildew resistant – Treated with a polyurethane (PU) coating and DWR finish to resist moisture, rot, and mildew.
- Excellent tensile and tear strength – Performs well under high stress, webbing attachment points, and repeated stitching.
- Long service life – Designed for military and industrial use where durability and longevity are more important than weight or softness.
- Weight and specification – 300 ±10GSM
Each unit is supplied as a single piece measuring 1 m × 1.5 m. Orders of multiple units will be supplied as one continuous length where possible.
